Nanny to help in the afternoon, Job ID J1DCDF

A lovely family in North London is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The role involves all general nanny duties. The household also has two friendly cats, though no pet care is required. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. 3 or 4 hours over Saturday or Sunday (flexible when the hours are - mornings/afternoons).

Duties include:

• Collecting the child from school.
• Assisting with homework in a supportive way.
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks.
• Arranging and supervising playdates.
• Engaging in age-appropriate games and activities.
• Reading stories and encouraging a love of books.
• Tidying away toys after use (with the child’s help).
• Supporting the evening routine, e.g. helping the child organise bags for the next day.
• Carrying out light laundry of the child’s clothes.
• Undertaking occasional grocery shopping.

This welcoming family would like someone to start with them in mid-September 2025.
