Nanny to help with a toddler and newborn baby

An amazing family residing in Islington, London is hiring a nanny who can take attentive care of their two children, a toddler and a newborn baby. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, very organised, tidy and friendly. Mum is pregnant, due in the next 2 weeks. She will be on a year of maternity leave and will be focussing on the newborn. Working as a team is definitely the key for this position, the candidate needs to be comfortable around newborns as well, just in case mum needs to go somewhere. It is important that the nanny has a minimum of 10 years childcare experience and have a natural love for children. A valid first and qualification is a must for this position in Islington.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Duties include:

• preparing milk,
• organising the children’s daily schedule,
• changing nappies,
• cleaning and sterilising bottles,
• setting up nap routine,
• washing and dressing them,
• playing with them,
• helping the toddler with potty/toilet training,
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners,
• creating activities and playdates,
• preparing and administering healthy food for the toddler.
• laundry and ironing after the children,
• cleaning up after the meals,
• maintaining the children's room and play areas tidy at all times

The full time nanny must be able to start by September 2022.
