Nanny to work in the afternoon

A Nanny to work in the afternoon is needed by a lovely family in Clapham, London to help them look after their school-aged child. The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. A driver who has a full driving license will be a bonus and can drive the children to school but is not a requirement. Someone who speaks German, French, Spanish or Italian is ideal for this role but the family is also open to English speakers.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, 12 hours a week.

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use and child to help
• helping with the evening routine, helping the child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping

The family is looking for someone to start immediately. The Nanny to work in the afternoon must have a valid first aid qualification.
