Nanny to work in the afternoons, Job ID J1ECDD

This lovely family in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their toddler and two school-aged children. They are looking for a mature and experienced nanny. All general childcare duties, as well as preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children, are expected. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6:30pm during school term. 2 days a week 8am to 6:30pm (flexible days) during half term.

Duties include:

• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Assisting with washing, dressing, and personal care routines.
• Providing homework support and encouraging learning.
• Engaging the children in after-school activities.
• Organising recreational activities to support physical and mental development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy environment for the children.
• Encouraging creativity through arts and crafts.
• Taking the children to parks, playgrounds, and outdoor activities.
• Supporting bedtime routines, including reading stories and settling the children to sleep.
