Norwegian speaking Afterschool Nanny

Norwegian speaking Afterschool Nanny is needed by a family in Camden, London to look after their two school-aged children. The Afterschool Nanny will be caring for two children at the same time so someone with experience in childcare is a big plus. Someone who speaks Norwegian would be ideal for this role to help the children communicate well using the language.

The Afterschool Nanny will be required to work 3 days a week, flexible between Monday to Friday, approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

The Afterschool Nanny will be responsible for

• Helping children with their school homework
• Creating a safe, fun, secure and loving environment for children
• Keeping the bedrooms, equipment and toys clean, well maintained, and sterilised
• Making healthy and appetising meals for the children
• Ensuring that the personal needs of children are met on the daily basis
• Collecting and then washing and ironing the children’s clothes
• Preparing children for bed
• Planning playdates
• Taking to school, activities and events
• Creating a trusting, loving and happy environment for the whole family
• Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of young children
