Ockley, Dorking Nanny-Housekeeper, £16 to £19 gross per hour

A Full-time Live out Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this wonderful family in Ockley, Dorking to help them look after their charming toddler and school-aged child while maintaining cleanliness in their household. Additionally, the candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the children and sometimes for the whole family. The nanny-housekeeper will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them.

A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours:
Core working hours – Term time: 30 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 am to 7:45 pm, and Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday will be day off.

The family expects roughly another 4 to 5 hours per week during term time to keep on top of the housekeeping duties.

Core working hours – School holidays: 56.25 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 am to 7:45 pm, and Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Duties include:

• assisting with bath time routine
• dressing the children
• cleaning them up after every meal
• preparing various age appropriate activities
• helping the older child with homework
• making sure they are always happy and safe
• changing nappies
• cleaning and sterilising bottles
• preparing milk for the little one
• helping with bedtime routine
• keeping the kitchen clean at all times
• mopping the floor
• doing laundry and ironing
• organising their clothes
• washing the dishes
• cooking simple dishes for the family
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the family
