Part-Time Afterschool Nanny in East Sheen, Job ID J22744

A family based in East Sheen, South West London (SW14), is looking for an experienced and proactive Part-Time Afterschool Nanny to support their household. The role involves shared care alongside the mother or grandmother, looking after three children categorized as a toddler, a preschooler, and a school-aged child.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience, excellent organizational skills, and a calm approach to managing an active afternoon routine.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:20 PM to 7:20 PM, totaling 12 hours per week.

Duties include:

• collecting the eldest child from school at 3:20 PM and bringing him home
• handling afterschool routines for the eldest between 3:20 PM and 5:00 PM, including changing out of school clothes, doing laundry, reading, homework, and getting him ready in his pyjamas
• handing over the eldest child at 5:00 PM when parents or the grandmother are home, then collecting the two youngest children from nursery
• feeding all the children, managing bath time, and engaging them with reading and quiet play
• assisting with bedtime routines between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM
• preparing dinner and snacks for the children as required
• handling light child-related housekeeping tasks, such as loading the dishwasher, tidying up toys, and wiping down kitchen counters after dinner
