Part-time Afterschool Nanny, Job ID J1EAF7

A wonderful family in Winchester, Hampshire, is seeking a part-time Afterschool Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child. The ideal candidate will be friendly, proactive, flexible and adaptable, as the hours required for this position are subject to change, depending on the family's schedule. They're also looking for a pet-friendly candidate as they have a medium-sized dog in the house. A driver is essential for this position.

Working hours: Up to 28 hours a week

Week 1: Monday & Thursday, 2:45 PM to 6:00 PM | Tuesday & Friday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday, 2:45 PM to 6:00 PM | Friday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Half Term & School Holidays: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Duties include:

• School pick up and drop off to after-school activities and extracurriculars
• Organising and encouraging educational, age-appropriate activities
• Providing homework assistance
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to and with the children
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Bathing and dressing the children as needed
• Keeping children's spaces clean and tidy

The family is looking for someone to start in January 2026.
