A lovely family in Chelsea, London is looking for a Part-Time Governess or Tutor with the following requirements:

Requirements:

Proven teaching experience at Early Primary level (essential) Experience preparing children for 7+ examinations (essential) Confident, proactive, and able to take initiative Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Warm, professional, and confident in setting boundaries Excellent communication skills

Working hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday, 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Duties include:

• Provide tailored academic support in line with the Early Primary curriculum.
• Prepare the eldest child for 7+ entrance exams through structured lessons and practice.
• Support both children’s learning through engaging, age-appropriate educational activities.
• Assist with homework and reinforce classroom learning.
• Encourage strong learning habits, independence, and organisation.
• Maintain a tidy and organised environment (toys, school materials, clothing).
• Oversee after-school routines, including snack preparation and settling into evening structure
• Promote good manners, positive behaviour, and clear, consistent boundaries.

This lovely family is looking for someone who can start on 27th April 2026.
