A warm, flexible, and experienced housekeeper is needed by a lovely family in Camden, London to help maintain their 3,400 sq. ft. duplex. The family has two children, aged 3 and 7, and a nanny is already in place to assist with childcare. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and confident with laundry and garment care. Fluent English is required, while Spanish would be a strong bonus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm or 9 am to 1 pm.
Duties include:
- maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the home
- sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors across all levels
- dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, showers, and toilets
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, worktops, appliances, and food preparation areas
- washing, drying, loading, and unloading the dishwasher
- managing laundry and garment care, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organising clothes and linens
- making beds and changing bed linens as required
- preparing fresh, healthy, and nutritious meals for the family
- planning simple weekly menus
- unpacking and organising grocery deliveries
- maintaining proper food rotation in the fridge, freezer, and pantry
- keeping food preparation areas clean, organised, and well stocked
- running occasional household errands when required
- providing light supervision of the children when necessary
The family is looking for someone to start in September.
