Part-time Housekeeper in London, Job ID J21FC0

A proactive and reliable housekeeper is needed by a warm and welcoming family in Brent, London to maintain their 3-bedroom semi-detached home. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping the home clean and organised, have good laundry skills, and be comfortable preparing basic vegetarian meals. The family also has two friendly cats, so the candidate should be comfortable around pets. Flexibility is important as the family travels regularly and hours may vary from week to week.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Approximately 25 to 35 hours per week, with flexibility required to work around the existing housekeeper's schedule.

Duties include:

• ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the home
• keeping all areas clean, organised, and presentable
• sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• cleaning and sanitising bathrooms
• cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
• washing, drying, folding, and organising clothing and linens
• managing laundry and ironing
• making beds and changing bed linens
• loading and unloading the dishwasher
• assisting with general garden upkeep
• preparing and supporting with vegetarian meals
• providing light care for the family's two cats

The family is looking for someone to start in September.
