A lovely family based in Balham is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to keep their home clean and well-organised. All general housekeeping duties are required in this role. Strong cooking skills are essential, with the ability to prepare meals using fresh ingredients, ensuring a good balance of vegetables and proteins while avoiding overly processed or fried foods. The family values variety and particularly appreciates experience in cooking for children, creating meals that are both healthy and appealing to them.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (part-time), 3 days per week (ideally Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), 3 hours per day (flexible on time)

Duties include:

• Washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks, including replacing bed linens and making beds as needed
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area to a high standard
• Preparing fresh, healthy, and balanced meals suitable for both children and adults
• Meals should use fresh ingredients, include a good balance of vegetables and proteins, and avoid overly processed or fried foods
• Variety is important, with a focus on meals that are both nutritious and appealing to children
• Experience in cooking for children is essential for the role
• Ensuring the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
