A warm and welcoming family in Notting Hill, London seeks a Part-time Housekeeper to help maintain their property to a high standard and prepare meals for the family. They are looking for someone kind, loving, and proactive who will become a valued member of their household. The role will involve all general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organised, and comfortable home, along with occasional ad-hoc tasks relating to the family’s daughter. No direct childcare will be required, as the child is home-schooled and will just help with homework on a daily basis. This position would suit someone with a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative while fitting seamlessly into a family environment. The family has a dog and two cats so someone pet-friendly would be ideal.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, approximately 25 hours per week

Duties include:

• Ad hoc, taking their child to some activities and pick-ups
• Making and eating lunch with the child, keeping company
• Maintaining a clean family home
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
• Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
• Deep cleaning the kitchen
• Washing clothes
• Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• Ironing
• Making up the beds and changing the linens
• Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Cleaning the windows and mirrors
• Running errands such as going to the post office, dry cleaner, grocery shopping

They are looking for someone who can start immediately.
