Part time Housekeeper

A Part-time Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family in Highbury, London to help them maintain the cleanliness of their home and prepare meals for the family. An ideal candidate will be someone organised and hardworking who takes the initiative in all general housekeeping tasks. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family. They have two school-aged children but don’t need care. Big preference for Arabic and Japanese speakers however English-speaking candidates would also be considered.

Working hours: 4 days a week from 9:00 am to 12:00/1:00 pm, or 11:00 am/12:00 pm to 3:30 pm, around 12 to 15 hours per week

Duties include:

• maintaining a clean family home
• sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• cleaning washbasins, bathtubs and showers
• deep cleaning the kitchen
• washing clothes
• unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• ironing
• making up the beds and changing the linens
• washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• cleaning the windows and mirrors
• cooking and preparing meals for the family

A Part-time Housekeeper must be willing to start as soon as possible but they are happy to wait for the right candidate.
