Part-time Housekeeper

A Part-time Housekeeper is required by a Maida Vale, London family to manage their home to a high standard of cleanliness. They seek someone organised and hardworking and who takes initiative in all general housekeeping duties. A confident cook is also needed to prepare healthy meals for the family and a bonus if the candidate is knowledgeable about Mediterranean cuisine. Big preference for Greek speakers however they are open to any language. A child-friendly candidate is ideal as they have two school-aged children and might involve some childcare.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday/Friday from 8 am to 12 pm, around 16 to 20 hours a week

Duties include:

• maintaining a clean family home
• sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• cleaning washbasins, bathtubs and showers
• deep cleaning the kitchen
• washing clothes
• unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• ironing
• making up beds and changing the linens
• washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• cleaning the windows and mirrors
• providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• tidying up the children's bedrooms and play areas

A qualified part-time housekeeper is someone who can join this Maida Vale resident and start by August.
