Part-time Nanny, £15 to £19 per hour, Job ID J1D69F

A wonderful family in the Hertfordshire area is seeking a Part-time Nanny to provide attentive care for their delightful toddler. They are looking for an experienced, caring, and easygoing individual with a basic understanding of child development. The role involves all typical childcare duties. As the family has a dog, a pet-friendly candidate would be ideal. A driver with a full driving licence would be a bonus but is not essential. While they have a strong preference for German speakers, they are also open to considering English-speaking candidates.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: 3 days, during the week or weekends, around 10 to 25 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Duties include:

• Supporting the child’s German language development
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings, such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
