A reliable part-time nanny housekeeper is needed by a family in Carlisle, Cumbria, to help them maintain the cleanliness of their home and care for their two school-aged children. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role. The family are seeking a reliable, discreet, and energetic professional who offers long-term commitment and the organisational excellence required to balance a busy family schedule. Responsibilities include typical nanny-housekeeping duties. In terms of support for the child with additional needs, they are able to walk, play and have early communication skills. Engagement, interest and support with practising exercises and therapy recommendations are needed. While they are able to eat some solid foods as snacks, they require feeding support for spoon-fed main meals. There will be occasional support required, accompanying the child to physiotherapy and medical appointments, and the option to support mum on therapy weeks in London. Beyond direct childcare, the position manages all child-related housekeeping, family meal preparation and some batch cooking during allocated times. The role also offers the potential for additional hours should they be needed. Someone who knows how to drive would be advantageous for this role. The family is looking for someone comfortable travelling since they would be spending the vacation out of the country. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: x2 12-hour days a week, ideally Thursdays and Fridays. 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Potentially able to offer more hours
