Part-time Nanny Housekeeper, Job ID J1DC60

This lovely family in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, are looking for a new Nanny-housekeeper. The ideal candidate must be resourceful and able to take the initiative to support Mum. The house comprises 6 bedrooms, and with the children now slightly older, it is predominantly a housekeeping PA role.

The main priorities are to keep the house tidy and organised, cooking evening meals and school pick-up. The family have several animals that will all require care, and so it is essential that the candidate loves pets.

They prefer someone flexible enough to join them for 3 to 4 weeks per year when travelling worldwide. A candidate with a full driving license, preferably has their own car, is highly desired for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 -18:00, (can be increased), Ad-hoc weekend babysitting, total of 25-30 hours for live-out or 40+ for live-in candidates

Duties include:

• Collecting the children from school, dropping off at after-school activities.
• Cooking healthy meals and snacks.
• Supporting with homework and the positive development of the children.
• Create a strong relationship with the children, engaging with interactive play and providing a structured routine to their day-to-day.
• Occasional ad-hoc babysitting on weekends would be required.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence.
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area.
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens.
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding.
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed.
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
• Be flexible to support mum with any additional domestic errands.

They are looking to hire someone as soon as possible.
