A lovely family based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, is seeking a Nanny-Housekeeper to support their three children, aged 13, 11, and 8, while helping maintain the smooth running of their home.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and will speak fluent English. Someone organised, reliable, proactive, and confident balancing childcare and housekeeping duties would be ideal for this 50/50 split role.

The nanny-housekeeper will be responsible for supporting the children’s care routines, managing schedules, preparing meals, supervising mealtimes, helping with homework and exam preparation, and organising activities, playdates, and day trips. The role will also include school runs, so a driver with their own car is required.

Housekeeping duties will include general household chores, such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, hoovering, tidying the children’s bedrooms and play areas, cleaning bathrooms, wardrobe management, children’s laundry, running errands, and light PA tasks, such as booking doctors, dentist, and haircut appointments.

The candidate will also prepare meals for the whole family, and batch cooking would be welcomed. The family has two cats, so occasional feeding and emptying the litter tray will be required.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, around 5 hours per day, usually split shift from 7:00 to 9:00, then 15:30 to 18:30. Some evening and occasional weekend work may be required and will be discussed. Additional housekeeping hours on a Monday daytime, around 3 to 4 hours, may also be available.

  • carrying out light PA tasks, such as booking appointments
  • cooking meals for the whole family

  • feeding two cats occasionally
  • emptying the litter tray when required
