Part-Time Nanny in Kentish Town, Job ID J227E0

A family based in Kentish Town, North London, is looking for an experienced and proactive Part-Time Nanny to care for their toddler.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Norwegian—speaking Norwegian to the child to encourage natural language exposure—and have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience. The household includes two friendly cats, so candidates must be comfortable around pets. A driver is not required.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: 10 hours per week, split across Sunday and two flexible weekdays (ideally including Friday).

Duties include:

• ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental growth of the toddler
• speaking Norwegian to the child to develop everyday understanding and language exposure
• engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and development
• assisting with nappy changes, bath time, and maintaining proper personal hygiene
• providing snacks for the child
• handling child-focused housekeeping duties
• being comfortable around the family's two cats
