A family based in Lewisham, London is looking for an experienced, engaging Part-Time Nanny to care for their two children: a 5-year-old son and a 4-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience, fluent English (with Russian speaking considered a bonus), and a strong educational or early years background—such as teaching, tutoring, or Early Years/KS1 experience, which is strongly preferred over formal childcare qualifications.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: 3 weekdays per week from 08:00 to 18:00 (flexible with days and hours), totaling 30 hours per week.

Duties include:

• For the 5-year-old son: handling school drop-offs and pick-ups, and delivering purposeful, learning-focused afternoons (including daily reading, phonics, handwriting, and early maths practice to reinforce school learning, plus conversation-rich play to build vocabulary and articulate speech)
• For the 4-month-old daughter: managing nappy changes, feeding, weaning support as she grows, and establishing consistent daily routines for naps and play; supporting her development through interactive play, singing, reading, and park outings (noting that sole charge care during the day will transition in early 2027)
• preparing and cooking nutritious lunches and dinners specifically for the children
• (Note: No general housekeeping or pet care duties are required.)

The family is looking for someone who can start on 7 November 2026.
