A wonderful family in Harpenden, Hertfordshire is looking for a Part-time Nanny to provide attentive care for their charming toddler. The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. The family has a dog at home so someone pet-friendly would be ideal though no pet care is required.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 2 months then Tuesday and Thursday from October 2025 ideally from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, around 14 to 21 hours per week

Duties include:

• Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
• Maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Managing laundry tasks for the child
• Keeping child's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child

They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
