Part-time Nanny needed ASAP, Job ID J1B294

A lovely family based in St. Albans, Hertfordshire is looking for a Part-time Nanny to provide proper care for their precious baby. They are looking for someone loving who genuinely loves children and doesn't just see it as a job. An ideal candidate will be someone reliable, trustworthy, someone active, focused on the child, proactive and friendly. Someone pet-friendly is ideal since the family has a dog at home and the role includes providing fresh food and water according to the dog's diet and schedule, take the dog for regular walks, let the dog out for toilet breaks or clean up after indoor accidents, and pick-up and dispose of waste responsibly during walks. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday and Thursday from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, approximately 23 hours per week

Duties include:

• Provide full care for their baby, including feeding (bottles and solids) and nappy changes
• Settling the baby for naps, following established sleep routines
• Engaging the baby in a variety of age-appropriate activities, including sensory play (e.g., textures, sounds, water play)
• Reading books and singing songs
• Practicing games that support gross and fine motor skills.
• Maintain a clean and organised environment
• Follow and support the baby’s established routines for sleep, feeding, and play to provide consistency and a sense of security
• Clean up after meals and play
• Wash child’s laundry
• Keep toys and nursery tidy
• Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals and snacks
