Part-time Nanny needed ASAP, Job ID J1CAB5

A lovely family based in Chesham, Amersham is looking for a Part-time Nanny to help them in looking after their newborn baby, toddler and three school-aged children. This is a role that requires someone proactive and forward thinking. They are looking for a candidate who is fun, engaging but also who has the ability to work confidently alongside the mum and tag team to ensure a smooth running of the evening. The duties will be split to either staying at home with the babies whilst the mum does the school run or do the school run and pick up the children form school whilst the mum stays home with the babies. During the evening, the nanny will work with the mum e.g she does homework help whilst you start bath time with the babies or you cook dinner whilst she is with the babies. A driver is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm, approximately 18 hours per week

Duties include:

• Changing nappies
• Sterilising bottles of milk for the baby
• Organising fun after school activities such as puzzles, crafts, educational games etc.
• Promoting good tummy time and stimulation for the newborn
• Helping with homework for the older children
• Organising toys and keeping on top of the children's bedrooms / play areas
• Cooking dinner meals for the children
• Taking track of the child’s development and updating the parents
• Making sure the child is always safe and happy
• Maintaining a clean environment for the child
• Doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes

They are looking for someone to hire in mid-August 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
