Portuguese speaking Live In Nanny

A Portuguese speaking full time live in nanny is required by a busy family located in Parsons Green, London to provide professional care to their three children, a little baby, a toddler and a school aged child on a long term basis. The ideal candidate will be experienced, flexible, reliable, very organised, easy going, proactive, focused on developmental stages and caring. Someone who has experience working with babies is essential. Light housekeeping duties related to the children will be expected.

The children are bilingual in Portuguese and English which is why they are ideally looking for a Portuguese speaker. Relative experience in caring for multiple children at the same time as well as a valid first aid qualification are both required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 7 pm plus 2 nights of babysitting

Duties include:

• preparing milk
• organising the children’s daily schedule
• changing nappies
• cleaning and sterilising bottles
• setting up nap routine
• washing and dressing the children
• playing with the children
• taking track of the children’s development and updating the parents
• making sure the child is always safe and happy
• taking to doctor’s appointment and helping the children with the bedtime routine
• organising the children’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the children’s clothes
• making sure the children’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping of the children’s supplies

The family would like the nanny to start in September.
