Regular Nanny-Housekeeper, 35 hours per week

A Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire-based family is hiring a Regular Nanny-Housekeeper to assist them in supervising their two charming school-aged children 35 hours per week. They seek someone flexible who can do school runs as the school is within 15 mins walking distance. The regular nanny housekeeper will take charge of all general housekeeping duties as well as the preparation of basic healthy meals for them. Someone who can drive would be ideal but is a requirement. This Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire family normally spends their vacation out of the country so a perfect candidate must be comfortable joining them. A qualified candidate who speaks Arabic, Spanish, or Tagalog would be a big preference for this position.

They welcome live-in candidates as well and they require someone who has a valid first-aid qualification.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 9 pm

Duties include:

• Responsible for the safety, well-being, care, and development of young children
• Helping the children to gain independence and do things for themselves
• Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Providing supervision and constant care to children
• Being disciplined with the children when required
• Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
• Managing the household – keeping things organised, having attention to detail and being proactive about upcoming events and activities
• Ironing and laundry
• Dusting and polishing
• Make up beds and change linens
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
• Deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Planning and organising age-related activities
• Stimulating children to read and be active
• Implementing daily routines
