Rickmansworth family hiring Live-in Housekeeper Cook

A Rickmansworth family is hiring a Live-in Housekeeper Cook to assist them in maintaining the upkeep of their home. Cooking and preparing simple nutritious and healthy meals, particularly breakfast and dinner is also part of the job. They have other staff members so someone comfortable working alongside them would be ideal. They own two lovely dogs that need to be walked occasionally however, they have a dog sitter. All general housekeeping duties will be expected in this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8 hours, plus Saturday 4 to 5 hours

Accommodation Separate bedroom, shared bathroom (there are few bathrooms available)

Duties include:

• sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• cleaning washbasins, bathtubs and showers
• deep cleaning the kitchen
• washing clothes
• unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• ironing
• making up the beds and changing the linens
• washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• cleaning the windows and mirrors
