Russian speaking Afterschool Nanny

A family is looking for a Russian speaking Afterschool Nanny to care for their school-aged child in Kensington, London. The Afterschool Nanny will be required to work Monday to Friday, approximately 30 to 35 hours per week. Occasional assistance during weekends would also be ideal. Someone who's a confident cook for the child and can do light childcare housekeeping would be advantageous.

Someone who speaks Russian would be ideal for this role to help the child communicate well using the language but the family is also open for someone who speaks any other language. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position. Someone who is a pet-lover would be advantageous as the family owns a friendly little dog.

Duties will include

• Helping the child with afterschool activities like homework
• Providing healthy meals and snacks for the child
• Providing supervision and constant care to the child
• Being disciplined with the child when required
• Tidying up child's bedrooms and play areas
• Playing with the child and taking to the park
• Planning and organising age-related activities
• Stimulating the child to read and be active
• Reading to and with the child
• Implementing daily routines
