Temporary Nanny Housekeeper for a month

A Temporary Nanny Housekeeper for a month is needed by this lovely family in Harpenden, Hertfordshire to help them in caring for their toddler as well as take charge of the housekeeping duties. The ideal candidate will be a kind, energetic and proactive person who can plan activities like swimming or cycling with the child. The candidate will also be expected to do batch cooking for the whole family occasionally. This will be a temporary role from the 1st of August until the 8th of September 2023.

Working hours: Monday and Thursday for 10 hours per day, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday for 5 hours per day, Saturday or Sunday for 5 hours, 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule.

Accommodation: Double bedroom En suite, very quiet at the back of the house

Duties include:

• responsible for the safety, well-being, care and development of the children
• implementing daily routines
• providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• organising and participating in activities with the children
• washing and bathing the children
• school runs
• tidying up the children's bedrooms and play areas
• preparing basic healthy meals for the family occasionally
• sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
• dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
• cleaning washbasins, bathtubs and showers
• deep cleaning the kitchen
• washing clothes
• unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
• ironing
• making up the beds and changing the linens
• washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• cleaning the windows and mirrors

A Temporary Nanny Housekeeper for a month must have a valid first aid qualification. They are looking for someone to start in August 2023 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
