A Temporary Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by a family in Maida Vale, London to help them with their household and look after their charming toddler. This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. This will be a temporary role until the 18th of July 2025.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, approximately 48 hours per week
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Assisting to cook healthy meals for the family
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
