West Hampstead family seek nanny housekeeper

A West Hampstead family seek a nanny housekeeper to help them care for their charming toddler and a precious baby. They seek a very experienced candidate who is warm and caring with excellent organisational and timekeeping skills and a high level of attention to detail. The role will be mostly nannying and light housekeeping initial responsibility would be the ground floor and pantry. They prefer someone who has a good level of English. Also, someone knowledgeable with early years development of the children who take initiative and helps without being asked. A driver would be a big bonus but is not a must.

Working hours: Monday and Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm, around 39 to 51 hours a week.

Duties include:

• meal preparation for the family
• caring for important items
• keep the fridge in reasonable order
• ensure the children’s rooms are clean, the bed linen is fresh, and that clothes are folded and put away in the correct place
• sweeping the floor
• wiping and disinfecting the kitchen surfaces, table, baby chairs and play mats
• maintaining the children's toys, rooms pram and clothes in reasonable order and cleanliness
• take out the bins and replace the bin bags
• cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens
• wardrobe management and organisation
• helping with learning
• children's laundry
• washing and dressing the children
• ensuring the children are dressed correctly
• playing with them
• changing nappies and potty training
• giving vitamins and assisting with brushing teeth in the morning
• sterilising and cleaning milk bottles
• taking them to activities
• planning fun and age-appropriate activities that promote the children's development
• making sure the children are always safe and happy
• small errands like grocery shopping, post office visits and putting the shopping away when it's delivered

This West Hampstead family seek a nanny housekeeper who can start as soon as possible. A valid first aid qualification is a must for this position.
