The main purpose of a Nursery Practitioner is to support and engage with young children and babies in the nursery by tracking their development and progress in order for them to reach their full potential.
Experience requirements vary from nursery to nursery however they will usually expect some sort of childcare experience which can be either professional or voluntary. Otherwise an EYFS qualification. Salary Range: £11,244 - £18,315
Nurseries will require a Paediatric First Aid qualification and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare which could include NNEB BTEC CACHE (Level 3 Diploma in Childcare) EYFS

Develop strong working relationships with parents and carers and discuss with them on a daily basis their child’s welfare, needs and development progress Ensure the nursery provides the best possible standard of care and education Record children’s development and progress Ensure the environment is safe at all times Ensure that all children have access to learning opportunities by providing activities which are engaging, educational and fun
As a Nursery Practitioner you will be working up to 40 hours per week
