A bubbly, enthusiastic and fun full time live in or live out governess is needed by a family residing in Ealing, London to attend the needs of their two school aged children. The governess must be a qualified teacher with classroom experience, exceptional organisational skills, and knowledge of modern learning method and tech platforms. The governess will need to assist the children with their academics but must have the right balance of being their friend and mentor. The role will focus on teaching, homework supervision and managing a team of 5 external tutors to ensure that the highest academic standards are achieved. General nursery duties such as organising everything in relation to children's school and social life will also be expected.
There will be no housekeeping duties but the governess will be required to cook one simple meal for the children on a daily basis. A valid first aid qualification is a must.
Working hours: up to 45 hours per week, from Monday to Friday

The ideal start for the right candidate will be around March, but the family is very flexible so the governess can start a bit earlier or later. The family is ideally looking for a live in governess during the pandemic but will be happy to offer a live out position once everything is back to normal. Otherwise, the governess must live locally in a non shared household.
