A lovely family is looking for an experienced nanny to care for their child at the family home while the parents are at work. The candidate would be able to provide hours sporadically starting as soon as possible and consistently starting in January 2025 when the mother returns to work full-time. Until mid-January, the role would be for babysitting, to get to know the family and the child. The family can be flexible with hours and days until January. The ideal nanny will be calm, have a friendly demeanor, and a sense of humor/playfulness to enjoy the discovery process of learning alongside the child. The successful candidate will be proactive, able to create a stimulating, caring, and nurturing environment for the child, and capable of working to a routine while adjusting to the child's needs. Housekeeping duties related to the child, such as the child's laundry and tidying the child's areas, are also required.
A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Until January, the family can be flexible as to hours and days.
• Starting in January 2025 the position would be 40 hours from 8 am - 8 pm. 3 consecutive days a week, and a Saturday morning from 9 am - 1 pm, with the possibility of ad-hoc overtime (if the Nanny chooses).
