A lovely family living in Islington is searching for an energetic, confident and experienced live in nanny to join their family on a long term basis from May 2022. The live in nanny will look after their newborn child who will be born in the United States. Because of this, the nanny will be required to come with them to the US for a month before settling in permanently on their property in Islington. The first six months of the role will be shared care with the father who is taking time off work. During this period, the candidate is expected to work up to 25 hours per week on flexible time. Two nights of babysitting shall be expected during this stage too. This will gradually charge after six months, wherein the role will transition into sole charge, and the candidate will be expected to work up to 50 hours with no overnight care required. The role will involve all nursery duties and will require a candidate who is flexible and confident working with young babies.
The Islington based family ideally seeks a candidate who can drive and who can speak Italian, but this is not required. It is essential, however, that the live in nanny holds a valid first aid qualification to be considered for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday up to 25 hours per week plus two nights for the first six months and up to 50 hours per week after six months
