This family in Hounslow seeks a proactive part time nanny to keep their children safe, well cared for and educationally engaged. The nanny will take charge of their school aged twins, and will be responsible for all the duties related to them. They are expecting two new addition to their family this year, so someone with twin experience is needed. The ideal candidate will need to ensure that the children are ready and taken to school. While they are at school, the nanny will need to ensure that some light housekeeping is done on their Hounslow property and take this time to prepare some fresh meals as well.

The family will hire a maternity nurse in June next year to prepare for the arrival of their babies. They will be away for large chunks of the summer, so no expected help is needed until September. It is important to note that the nanny will not be alone with all four children but will need to be a team player for the client when it comes closer to the time. The candidate will need to be someone who has a calming presence and knows how to keep up with energetic twins while keeping the balance at home. The mother will be around most of the time; hence, the candidate needs to be comfortable working on both sole and shared basis. They have another property in Hampshire, and the candidate is welcome to join them during their visit.

A candidate who holds a valid first aid qualification and a full driving license is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Wednesday, from 8 am to 7 pm, approximately 33 hours per week

Duties include:

  • cooking healthy meals for the children,
  • following morning and afternoon routines,

  • preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime,
  • cleaning and washing up after children’s meals,
