This family based in Islington is looking for an after-school nanny to look after their school aged child. The main tasks would be to pick up the child from school, prepare some snack, help them study for their Maths and English exams, and cook dinner. The nanny needs to be pet friendly as they have two cats at home.
The family seeks an energetic and bubbly candidate with a valid first aid qualification who can inspire their child to grow up. They are keen to hire by mid August.
Working hours: Ideally 25 hours per week, with flexibility
Duties include:
- collecting the child from school
- helping with homework
- preparing meals and snacks
- arranging playdates
- helping with homework
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the child
- tidying away their toys after use – child to help
- helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise
bags for the next day
- light laundry of child’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
