A wonderful family in Putney area seeks an After-school Nanny to help them care for two school-aged children. They seek an experienced, caring and easygoing candidate who has a basic understanding of child development. The role includes all general childcare duties. The nanny will also be expected to cook and prepare healthy meals for the family.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, approximately 20 hours per week
Duties include:
- Picking children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Putting children to bed
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
