The family seeks an after-school nanny for their delightful toddler and school-aged child in Richmond on a permanent basis. Duties encompass all typical nanny responsibilities. As the family relocates to the UK, settling in Richmond, the nanny will mainly care for both children, while Dad occasionally works from home and Mum plans to shift to part-time remote work. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, active, and artistic or crafty, as the children enjoy activities like drawing, painting, and crafting. Proactivity is essential, with the nanny being kind, caring, and firm in establishing boundaries from the start. They should also be energetic and eager to engage the children in after-school adventures. Given the children's outgoing nature and boundary-testing, the family prefers a confident nanny who can actively engage and build a special bond over time. Experience in nurturing environments where children thrive is preferred. Additionally, the family has a dog, so comfort with walking the dog would be advantageous. Driving skills and comfort with travel are also beneficial, as the family vacations abroad.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm until September. Starting September, up to 30 hours per week guaranteed. Occasionally flexible to swap a weekday for a Saturday afternoon/evening if needed, with the candidate choosing the weekday to take off.
