A lovely family based in Dulwich, London, is looking for an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children on a permanent basis. The role involves all general nanny duties, including school pick-ups, assisting with homework, and engaging the children in fun and educational activities. You will also be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 pm or 4:00 pm/7:30 pm
Duties include:
- Picking up children from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
- Bathing and maintaining hygiene for the children
- Ensuring safety and well-being, promoting the development of the children
- Engaging in interactive play and educational activities, including outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy through reading books and storytelling
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children's educational progress
- Establishing and maintaining consistent routines to promote structure and development
- Keeping children’s rooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
