This lovely family is looking for an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. All general nanny duties are required in this role. Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly autism, would be a strong bonus. The main focus will be on supporting the child with concentration and engagement.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Duties include:
- collecting the child from school
- helping with homework
- preparing meals and snacks
- arranging playdates
- helping with homework
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the child
- tidying away their toys after use – child to help
- helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise
bags for the next day
- light laundry of child’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
