An After-school Nanny is needed by a lovely family in Wanstead, London to help them look after their school-aged child. They value someone who enjoys engaging with children and creating opportunities for fun and social development.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, approximately 20 hours per week
Duties include:
- Picking the child up from school and transporting him to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
- Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the child
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the child educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child structure and development
- Keeping the child's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
