A reliable and responsible part-time au pair is needed by a family in Ashford, Kent to support their 15-year-old son and assist with the smooth running of the household. The ideal candidate will be confident, organised, a good cook, and comfortable providing support to a teenager. A driver is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week. Flexible hours.
Accommodation: Single bedroom with a shared bathroom.
Duties include:
- providing daily care and support for the 15-year-old boy
- helping with school and other pick-ups and drop-offs when needed
- providing lunchtime cover at the tuition centre while the son is in tuition
- keeping the child's schedule organised and on track
- preparing and cooking meals, particularly in the evenings when mum is away
- providing a helpful and responsible presence around the home
- assisting with light housework when needed
- supporting the family with general day-to-day tasks
The family is looking for someone to start in May.
