A friendly family based in Kent is seeking a kind and reliable Live-in Au Pair to mainly support their 18-month-old toddler and provide light support with a newborn baby due in August 2026.
The ideal candidate will speak fluent English and will be warm, dependable, and confident caring for young children. This will be a supportive shared-care role, as the parents are often at home. There will be no sole charge of the baby, no night work, and no heavy housekeeping required.
The au pair will be responsible for helping with the toddler’s morning routine, preschool drop-offs and pick-ups, playtime, meals, and bath and bedtime routine. Light baby support may also be required once the newborn arrives, with the parents always present.
The role will also include child-related laundry, tidying, and light household help. The family already employs a weekly cleaner.
A driver is required for this role, and two cars are available for use. The candidate will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom on the top floor.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:15 to 9:00 and 15:30 to 19:00. Around 22 to 23 hours per week.
