An Au Pair is needed by this lovely family based in St. Albans, Hertfordshire to help them in looking after their school-aged children. An ideal candidate will be someone warm, flexible and proactive who is eager to be part of the family and can take on all general childcare responsibilities. The Au Pair will be responsible with cooking meals for the children, assisting with daily routines, and accompany them to age-appropriate activities. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license is a must and an automatic car can be provided.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Full-time hours are required during school holidays.

Accommodation: Double bedroom own private toilet, little annex, preferably not weekends live-in

Duties include:

  • taking the children to school and picking up afterwards
  • helping with homework
  • doing after school activities with the children
  • preparing recreational activities
  • messy play with the children
  • maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
  • doing arts and crafts
  • taking to parks and playgrounds
  • feeding the children and helping with bedtime routine

They are looking for someone to hire in September 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
