A live-in Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family in Chelsea, London, to assist them in caring for their newborn baby due in January and a school-aged child while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. All childcare and housekeeping duties are expected. Cooking will also be required. Live-out candidates may apply.
A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with a break.
Accommodation: Ensuite and mini kitchen / separate entrance
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Cooking and prepping healthy meals for the children
