A Part time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed to help a family in maintaining their household and caring for their two school-aged children in Islington, London. They are looking for someone to pick up the children from school and activities, watch over the children, do the grocery shopping, clean the home, and cook meals for the family. The candidate must be comfortable with cooking Italian cuisines for the family nightly and an emphasis on all deep cleaning duties within the home. Someone who could speak the Italian language is ideal however they can consider English-speaking candidates.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 25 hours per week
Duties include:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Running pick ups from school and activities
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Cooking healthy meals for the family
