A lovely family based in Maldon, Essex is looking for a Full time Nanny-Housekeeper to assist them in looking after their three school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their property. They are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with children and creating opportunities for fun and social development. They have a cat and planning to get a dog so someone pet-friendly would be ideal but is not a must. A driver is required for this position, and the candidate should be comfortable driving both automatic and manual vehicles.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, approximately 36 hours per week
Duties include:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Cook and prepare meals for the children
The family is seeking someone who can start in mid-August 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
