This lovely family, based in London, is looking for a Full-time Nanny-Housekeeper to take care of their toddler and school-aged child. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role. A driver would be a bonus. The family is looking for a Nanny Housekeeper to mainly look after the youngest child and housekeeping. One school is a 20-minute walk from the home (can use mum's cargo bike/drive if possible). Pick up their younger child from the Nursery at 12 PM, give lunch to her, take her to any activities, pick up the oldest child from school and take to any activities. The family may look into keeping the youngest child in Nursery for longer (to be confirmed). All general housekeeping duties, mainly when children are not home. Preparing dinner for the family, the family eat the same thing for dinner together, and mum will help create a meal plan/provide recipes. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Duties include:
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development.
- Cooking healthy meals for the family.
- Work with family to agree on the weekly meal plan and organise the weekly food delivery.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence.
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area.
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens.
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding.
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed.
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Empty bins when full. Keep the bin area tidy and sweep the front porch if necessary.
- Help with light household errands, such as going to the post office.
