A lovely family based in Battersea, London, is seeking an experienced Full-time Live-out Nanny to care for their preschool-aged child. The role is set to begin in September 2026.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. A candidate who can also speak Hindi, French, or Spanish would be a bonus. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, organised, and confident supporting a young child's daily routine, learning, and development.

The nanny will be responsible for all childcare duties, including supporting the child's personal care, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, planning engaging educational activities, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. The role also involves assisting with school drop-offs and pick-ups, supporting the child's educational development, and keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean and organised. During school holidays, full-day care will be required, with working hours to be discussed.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday. Ideally wrap-around care starting at 7:00 am, including an 8:30 am school drop-off and 3:30 pm school pick-up. The child may attend after-school clubs until 5:30 pm on some days. The family guarantees 35 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 40 hours per week. Full-day hours will be required during school holidays.

Duties include:

  • providing attentive care for a preschool-aged child

  • assisting with bathing and maintaining proper hygiene

  • ensuring the child's safety, well-being, and development

  • supporting school drop-offs and pick-ups

  • engaging the child in interactive play and educational activities

  • arranging outdoor outings, such as visits to the park

  • encouraging early literacy by reading books

  • supporting the child's educational growth and homework where appropriate

  • establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines

  • preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks

  • keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy

  • creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment

The family is looking for someone who can start in September 2026.
